Dear God,

Why do we have such a hard time loving and accepting one another?  Why do we think everyone should believe/practice/live the way I do?  Why do we think our way should be the standard for living?

You made us as creatures of your own being.  You put a part of yourself in each one of us.  You made us in your image.  At the same time you give us space to grow and love and be the way we see fit.  We are not cutouts made from the same pattern.  There is a unique beauty in each one, yet, all family.

We cannot change without your help, Master Creator.  We need you to teach us how to live/practice/believe in love.

Show us
your way,
Wondrous Father.
Lead us down
paths of righteousness,
love and mercy.
Make us
of one heart.
