Dearest God,

Gifts from on high are like no gifts from below.  The moment I saw our new baby, our latest great grandchild, my heart swelled and nearly burst.  There before me was my granddaughter Gabrielle holding her sweet baby girl Emmy Lu.  All the love I felt for Gabrielle spread out and embraced her daughter.

This is your story of divine love, O God.  You made us, you created us to love, to embrace and to stretch that love again and again.  Your story is the greatest story in the world and to think you invite us into that love.  You welcome us in, make our love grow big and then give us opportunities to love more.
