Dear God,
Why do we think we have so much power? Why do we think we can really change things? Why are we so arrogant? We have little to no power to make change without you.
My aunt is sick. She is being tested for Covid-19. Forty residents have the virus and it is spreading like wildfire. Yet, we have no real power as family to change her situation as much as we desire it. She is 92. We love her dearly.
Right now there are many things about which we have no power. We feel helpless, powerless to change this plague, the many injustices in our country and economic downfall. We need you, O Lord; we desperately need you.
Merciful God,
lead us
to the well
to drink.
We need
living water.
We need
spiritual food.
We need guidance.
We need compassion.
Lead us,
we pray.
Love, Andrea
