Dear God,

Is it possible to be cold and warm at the same time?  Our little glassed-in study is always cold this time of year but my heart is warm thinking about holy holidays, loving family and friends and memories of past times.  I am always full during Thanksgiving, Advent, Christmas, Epiphany and Winter.  All these are sacred days of remembering, loving, celebrating, joy and hope.

I am eternally grateful for these special days set aside for your people.  Thank you for thinking of us and giving us opportunity to think of you and others.  Indeed, it is a joyous time, O God, a joyous time.

remind me

there are others

who are 

facing hardships

of many kinds.

Keep me open

to helping others.

Help me

be a light

and a well

bringing hope

and joy,

I pray.
