Dear God,
Seemingly it was when I blinked that I noticed the rise of purple, yellow and white crocus. I could hardly believe it. I stopped my car in front of my neighbor's home and there I quietly prayed a prayer of thanksgiving. How beautiful it was.
Trees, like the flowers, have come to life. Tiny buds have formed right under my nose. I suspect if I waited long enough, I could watch them grow.
Springtime is so full of you, Loving God, so full of you. All around us there are signs of new life appearing. So perfect for Easter time, a time of resurrection for a new life of faith. Oh, may it be so, may it be so!
How blessed
I am
to witness
your work
in springtime.
New and
old colors,
shapes and textures
appear, changing
the landscape
once again.
How can
I ever
forget you,
Merciful God,
when I
see you
all around me?
Love, Andrea
