Dear God,

Early this morning I watched as the darkness began to fade and the light began to come.  When that happens I cannot help but smile for I see you in the darkness and the light.  Not only that I see you in the process of darkness turning to light.

It is a wondrous thing watching night change into day.  And yet, this is but one of an infinite number of things you do every day.  Witnessing creation at its finest blesses me so much that then I am able to bless you with my smile, my affection and my faith.  All this is because of you, only you.

Holy God,

there is

no god

like you.

Thank you

for early morning

that shares

her secrets

first thing.

Thank you

for awakening me

early every morning

so I 

am able

to see

morning arise

with you.
