Dear God,

It is Easter Monday.  Does it matter?  I wonder if the Easter bunny has taken over Easter Sunday.

Does faith matter?  Is it relevant for human life and the shaping of a more loving, peace-filled world for all your children?  Of course it matters but are we committed to it?

Holy God,

you promise

to reshape,

remake and renew us.

We need it.

What good

is life

without a

commitment to you

and to faith

in daily living?

We can 

always live life

in the shallow

but why

when you

offer us

a deeper way?
