Dear God,

In normal time (Chronos) we can count seconds, minutes and hours.  We can set the clock and timer.  Both will give us precise time.  But Kairos time is vastly different.  It is not even counted the same way.

Kairos time is the time we spend with you.  It is not that time stands still, it is just "Presence" time.  I have spent "time" in Kairos time, time that felt like seconds with you that in ordinary time was three hours.  How can we reconcile this time or is it even necessary?

Although I understand very little about Kairos time, I do know it is a time of insight, miracles, healing, wisdom, holy time.  The air seems different, emotions are different, the sense of space is different.  I can't explain it; I just know it is mystical, meaningful, full of faith and love.  So many gifts reside inside this precious time.

Almighty God.
