Dear God,

Thank you for all the miracles you do enabling us to do more than we think we can.  I did not think I could lose weight.  I needed to because of health reasons.  So, I prayed and prayed and prayed.  I asked your help to give me a desire to walk and to eat better.  After many weeks of prayer I awakened one morning to the thought it was a good day for a journey outside.  As a result of your good work in my life, today the scales dipped downward by ten pounds.

Why do we think we cannot do something?  Why do we fail to walk this life in faith with you as our strength?  Why do we choose fear instead of faith?

I do not know all the answers to these questions.  I only know at this moment I am walking in and by faith with you and you are doing a marvelous work in me.  I am exceedingly grateful.

Holy, holy, holy

are you,

Lord God.

Thank you

for the gift

of strength,

of trust

and of hope.

Thank you

for leading me

to better health

and greater faith.
