Dear God,

Seemingly a song fell out of thin air into my mind as I worked on the spiritual path.  I started humming the melody as I remembered the song from my teen years.  But hearing it was different this time.  In the 1960's I dreamed about boyfriends.  This time I realized the song was all about you.

"Only you can make this world seem right; only you can make the darkness bright.  Only you and you alone can thrill me like you do and fill my heart with love for only you."  The lyrics from the song, "Only You" by the Platters really is a love song from you to us and us to you.  The more I hummed it, the closer I felt to you.

I am wowed by the continual way you inspire and bless, O God.  I wasn't thinking back 50 years; neither was I thinking about that song.  However, you brought it to me and for a couple of days I have been humming and singing, so grateful for the gift and for the giver.
