Dear God,

Trust, we must learn to trust you in all things, in ALL things.  Flying is not my favorite thing.  I always feel butterflies stirring when the captain gives the full thrust at the edge of the runway.  But that is the signal of faith for me to trust you for not only my safety but for all those in the air.

You are always inviting us to trust you, Lord.  You want to calm our fears and anxieties.  You want us to breathe in the air of hope, serenity and peace.  When we turn ourselves over to you, we find all these things.

Thank you,

Compassionate God,

for the gift

of trust.

Breathe trust

into us,

O God.

Make us

a trusting people.

Thank you

for trust today.
