Dear God,
When I am alone and cannot find solace, you remind me of your constant presence. You speak to me of love and grace and faith. While I know I can walk in my own way, your love and grace is always an invitation to return to you, to let you love me and to offer me yet a better way.
Sometimes I forget your promises. Sometimes I just want to be belligerent and resistant. Sometimes I want to muddle in my puddle of self-pity. While I can do that, why would I want to?
Loving God,
there is
no one
who loves me
more than you.
I celebrate
your love
for me.
May I remember
to let go
so you
can not only
love me
but show me
once again
how to
love others.
Yours, Andrea
