Dear God,

You have opened door after door this Advent season!  What a special gift!  When I prayed early in Advent for you to open doors, I had no idea who you would bring into my life.  I just knew I desired to walk through each door.

Two young men delivered our new mattress.  You whispered and I gave them each $20 for Christmas.  One man came to repair our garage door opener and I gave him a jar of my homemade jam.  I heard you say the name "Family Promise" and I went to Speedway Gas Station and bought $300 worth of gas cards for people struggling to get to work.  All month long you woke me to the need of someone and when the door opened, I walked through it aiding someone. I do believe this door opening was the best gift of Christmas for me!
