Dear God,

Sometimes words are inadequate to describe the visions you bring me.  Often they are simply questions; other times they are a connection of thoughts.  Sometimes they are insights, whisperings and pictures of truth or hope.  But always they are deeply felt in the inner circle of my soul.

In the last couple of weeks visions have come, one that was especially helpful, even eye-opening.  It wasn't easy because it produced a dark night of the soul.  I was restless and couldn't sleep.  I kept seeing disturbing scenes and I knew they were false pictures of reality, no truth to them.  Finally realizing my torment was not your will, I simply prayed, "Not my will but yours, O Lord."  Literally in seconds everything changed.  My mind was cleared and I fell asleep.

O God,

your will

and way

are always best.

Forgive us

when we

trust our 

thoughts only.

Clarify the truth

for us,

I pray.
