Dear God,

There is something quite beautiful about Easter Monday. It is that Easter continues.  Resurrection is still possible.  Hope is alive.  Faith is deep and wide.

Sometimes we treat holy days as holidays, ones for Santa and the Easter Bunny.  Now there is nothing wrong with that but holy days are more meaningful, ongoing and valuable.  When Santa and Bunny are gone one day, Christmas and Easter are still occurring.  Jesus, God and the Holy Spirit are still at work giving.

for lessons

in faith,

Loving God.

We need them

for daily living.

Teach us

again andf again.
