Dear God,

"I will give you a new heart and breathe my spirit into you."  These words came from the author of Ecclesiastes.  What that means is when our hearts are weary, burdened down, pumping harder to no real avail, you promise to give us a new heart.  You promise to lift it up, to ease its suffering and to give it your strength.  And to think on top of that you promise to breathe your very own spirit into us giving us energy, restoration and life.  Wow, what more can we ask?

In our daily living more often than not, we work out of our own strength and will.  But we come up short.  We do not have what we could have by trusting in you, anticipating that new heart and breath of heaven.  We can have more and why would we not?
