Dear God,

The writer of Ecclesiastes says that you have put eternity in the human heart.  Eternity. do we even comprehend what that means for us?  Eternity in all our hearts, in mine.

What power!  What love!  What compassion for the God of the cosmos to share eternity with us!  Can we even take it in?

When I pause to consider that eternity is within me, I realize I am enabled to do more than I can think or believe.  With your help and grace, I can overcome temptation.  I can conquer my fears.  I can love others who hurt me.  I can because you are with me.

Holy God,

thank you

for your

amazing gift

of eternity.

Thank you

for redirecting us

when we

trust you.

Thank you

for blessing us,

all of us,

even me.
