Dear God,

The intimate walk with you early this morning delighted my whole being.  Gazing upon tiny blades of grass holding on to their one droplet of dew and seeing daffodil leaves rising from mother earth to reach for heaven drew us closer together. Our journey was one long prayer.  I couldn't help feeling my faith grow.

When I leave home to walk at 8:00 a.m. I have to contend with drivers hurrying to work, trucks making deliveries and the sounds of busyness.  But early, really early, there is so much quiet beauty to witness, so much fresh air to breathe in and so much time to reflect upon your gracious love in the world.  I am so grateful for our time together.  How about early tomorrow?
