Dear God,

Make your ways our ways, O Lord.  Help us cultivate a life of faith, one that seeks you above all else.  Because in seeking your ways and your will, we will increase faith, compassion and love.  We will love and care for others more because our faith is deep and wide.

Yet, we carve our own ways and you allow us to do so.  You know where they will lead and you know what will await us.  You also know when we attain our wishes or desires, so often they will be lacking in some way or another.  On the other hand when we seek you first, surprisingly so many other good things come our way.

Blessed are you,

God of Love.

Thank you

for blessing us

with your way

and your will

for our lives.

Teach us

to seek you first

so we

can find

our way

every day.
