Dear God,

As much as we may desire to remain the same as always before, springtime challenges us to see possibilities for change and transformation.  Rebirth, life coming after death and new shoots remind us that nothing stays the same.  Even if we attempt everything to stay stuck, we cannot.

And why would we not want renewal, restoration and reconciliation?  There is so much beauty and joy in springtime change!  As we let go and allow you to grow in us, we can see and hear and touch, taste and smell new life.  We can finally let the stale air go.  We can leave baggage behind.  We can lighten the weight we carry with us.  We can be made new.  

Great Creator,

grow within us.

Remove obstacles,

the old

and demanding

from us.

Erase everything

that holds

us back.

Open the door

to our heart,

mind and soul.

Then come

and reside

inside us.

Let the change begin!!!
