Dear God,

My nose offered your message today!  As I worked on the spiritual path, I was surrounded with sweet scents of lilac and lily of the valley, two of my favorites.  

I gave thanks for the ability to smell.  The fragrant spring scents pointed me to you as I thought then of the sweet fragrance of your grace and mercy.  Who could live without these?  Each sweeten my day, my thoughts, feelings and doubts.  When they come I remember how amazing your love is, how it is given 24/7 no matter how sweet or sour I am, still it comes.

So today, O God, I give you thanks for all the fragrances of life, so many, so very many!
