Dear God,

It's the cracks in our soul that allow love, reason and hope to drain when life is troubling.  When things don't go our way or we are victims of injustice, we can lose the great gifts you provide, O God.  If we are angry and cannot reconcile our pain, we make space for the gifts of faith to ooze out.  When such is the case, healing is hard to come, forgiveness is strained and peace is impossible.

On the other hand, if we crawl into our cracks with you, amazing things can happen.  We can find answers to our dilemma, hope for change and help from deep sources.  You enter our cracks with us, dear God, because you want to heal us, ease our tension and frustration and turn us right side up.  Anything can happen when we trust you.

Teach us

the way

of faith,

Great Healer.

Turn our pain

into peace

through the

power of

your compassionate love.

Then fill us

with gratitude

for your 

living presence

and loving help.
