Dear God,

When we join with you, truly join you, we live in perpetual light.  Yes, we may have dark days but we know that we know that we know the light still shines.  

I remember flying one day.  On the ground the skies were gray, dark and ominous.  They seemed to threaten storms and severe weather.  I admit it was frightening since flying is not one of my favorite things.  However, when the pilot took us above the clouds, the sun was shining brightly.  The sky was blue and looked as peaceful as peace can look.

I learned a lesson that day.  What we can see at the moment may not be the whole picture.  There is more than meets the eye.  When seen through the eyes of faith, we can see the light even when it is dark.  That light is not just light from the sun, moon or stars but a light that perpetually shines.
