Dear God,

The sun seemed brighter, the world filled with more hope and joy bubbling up today.  Maybe it was because it was Sunday or the worship was both wonderful and challenging.  Maybe it was because we were with friends.  Maybe it was just because you were so present in all those things around me.

Every day is a day full of you, O God.  We miss it when we don't pay attention and more often than not, we do not.  Yet, the sun came up and went back down.  There was oxygen to breathe in and smiles on people around us.  There was hope present and some moments filled with peace. 

As we awaken and walk through each day, O God, please make us aware of your presence so we can give you our gratitude and together we can share in your joy.
