Dear God,

Through reading we pick up new friends, people who encourage, teach and connect with us.  During my daily devotions, I encounter ordinary people offering extraordinary words of wisdom, insight, hope, mercy and challenge.  They step inside my life and linger.  

This is your way, O God, as you bring us together for one another.  As we listen and learn, our hearts, minds and spirits are massaged to include more of what we need to become people who are ever growing, stretching and reflecting faith, life and love.

As we open ourselves to your spirit, we open ourselves to more of you as you come and dwell whispering words of love, peace and comfort.  Who else offers so much?
