Dear God,

Your surprises are like no other!  Even when a person plans a surprise party and we walk into it unexpectedly, even that surprise cannot compare to the ones given by you.

Faith is really all about surrender and trust.  When we give over our expectations, plans and even beliefs, you take our surrender, massage it with grace, blessing and love and give it back to us reformed and more beautiful than before.  It is amazing and awesome because it fills us with so much beauty, praise and wonderment.  We become like fireworks of gratitude shooting off in every direction!  We simply cannot hold it all back, hoard it for ourselves or retain it in our souls; it has to be shared.

I have had many of these experiences.  Although the happenings were for me, they are really all about you.  At appropriate times and people, I share them with others whose faith is lagging, whose hope is vanishing and whose will is broken.  They too discover the wonders of faith, faith in you and faith in the world taking place in so many ways and so many people.

Holy, holy, holy

God Most High.

and every opportunity

to give praise!
