Dear God,
I begin a new chapter today. Like any new chapter I start at your feet. Why would I ever want to start out alone?
My life is a book, a very big book. Each chapter is a testimony to trust or lack of it. I write each chapter with life events.
At 62 I am beginning to reread my life story. I think about my early days, the memories of being a child with three siblings, a mom and dad, grandparents and oodles of uncles, aunts and cousins. I see my learnings, my adventures and misadventures, my mistakes and failures but I also see countless divine appearances, those moments when you appeared to me either because you wanted to be my daily companion or because I cried out for your help or guidance. Reading one's own life story is a telling exercise.
Write
the story
of my life,
dearest God.
Create in me
a story
of God.
Love, Andrea
