Dear God,

How do we climb aboard the wave of your spirit? How do we ride that grand wave with others so touched and inspired by your gracious love?

In recent days I have read and heard about miracles, miracles that altered people's lives. As news spread of the great gift God had given, others were brushed with the reality of your living spirit. How do we bottle this blessing so that more and more will ease into the joy you have to give?

How do you open the eyes of some while others are blind to faith? How do you open the ears of hope so that the majesty of eternity can waft into the soul making it new? How do you open a broken, fractured heart allowing the goodness of your healing power to soothe and smooth?

As I listen and sing church music, I discover the magic of music designed to make people whole. The messages are destined to reshape the human heart, mind, and soul; I am sure of it. As I unlock the door to my own person, the music of your spirit rushes into me and I find myself rising up. My weary bones feel the weight lifting and the doors and windows to my spirit suddenly open just like the jail doors opened for St. Paul. It's just that easy and quick; I know it.

Every Thursday as I rehearse with the choir, I feel so incredibly blessed with those around me who are just as hungry for your spirit as I am. As we blend our voices and our spirit together, we become a single voice for you.

How do
you do
what you do,
Almighty God?
How do
you transform
a stiff-necked people?
(I count myself
as one of them)
Remould, reshape,
and renew us,
Gentle Potter,
make us
into your
great design,
I pray.

Love, Andrea
