Dear God,

What an exquisite array of flowers you have provided this great planet! Blues, pinks, purples, whites, yellow with green leaves, spotted, striped, and multicolored leaves. As I strolled through the nursery to select plants for my flower garden, I was so aware of your work in creation. Each flower is so delicately painted.

As I transform my garden from weeds, debris, fallen branches, and root infestation, I am conscious of your beautiful design. I realize how important it is to be partners with you in creation. You give us the tools, the potential, and the beauty and then you set us up to share in the work. As we combine our efforts, your glory shines.

O Lord,
never let me
miss an opportunity
to share
in your ministry
of creation.
Remind me
of my part
in the work
of creation.
Set me free
to work
for you,
I pray.
