Dear God,
You have taught me to believe faith is the best weapon against fear. You have shown me how fear can riddle the body to immobility. Faith can break the chains that hinder the soul. When I take your hand (which is faith to me) I am enabled to move again. I can breathe. Faith allows me to step forward into the future.
Each time fear creeps in, you make me aware. You whisper faith to me telling me fear never has the last word. Trust me, you say, and I will help you. When I do, I am never disappointed. I cheer thinking how grateful I am to be able to battle the forces that seek to undo me whatever they look like.
As I live by faith, fear will still find a way to slither in but your grace will always be waiting for the challenge.
Thank you,
Strong and Mighty God,
for your love
which always
empowers me
to leap
tall mountains
of fear.
I thank you
for courage,
strength, and
faith that
dwells within.
You are God;
there is none
like you.
I am grateful.
Love, Andrea
