Dear God,

Your love is so vast and great!  There is no love like yours.  Human love does not even begin to compare.

How does love get distributed, O Lord?  How do those who seem so far from love receive it?  How do you break down barriers to love?

I am blessed.  I feel great love streaming from your hands not because I have done anything to deserve it but because I know you are a generous and loving God.  I have to admit sometimes I feel guilty.  Why do I experience so much love when others will argue your distance from them?  I am convinced we all have the same access to you.  You come to all of us in one way or another.  Your mercy pot is full for every child on the planet.  I believe it, so much do I believe it.

But, Lord, there are so many hurting people.  Many do not feel loved.  They do not experience your compassion or comfort.  They feel alone, forgotten, and neglected.  How do we help them know your love?

Show us
the way
to love,
Heavenly Father;
help us
reach out
to those
who feel
so far away
from love.
Teach us how
to carry love
to all
your children,
I pray.
