Dear God,

I heard your voice, "Give faith a chance!"  I heard it throughout the day and again this morning, "Give faith a chance!"

When we pray to you, pour out our hearts, and then ask for assistance, we are praying from faith.  Because we come to you to air our concerns means we act in faith.  But after we pray we are to shed our doubt, our wounded feelings, and our skepticism.  We walk in faith believing you have heard us, care for us, and desire us to live in the light while the dark clouds threaten.  If we are to live in faith, then we cannot lose hope because to do so is to refuse to give faith a fighting chance.

When I consider my own personal experience of faith, I can honestly say faith has blessed me a miracle number of times.  When I rise up out of the mire, I act in faith.  When I take a step toward healing and wholeness, I act in faith.  When I pray, lifting up my troubles, I act in faith.  When I move forward trusting you to guide me, I act in faith.  When I allow hope, peace, and joy to return to my heart even though my difficulty remains the same for the moment, I act in faith.

Faith is our best friend.  It can relieve us, restore us, and renew us.  It can rebuild our courage.  It can issue us a passport to a meaningful, valuable future.  Faith can help us smile again simply because you are with us.

Thank you
for gentle reminders
of faith.
Thank you
for faith
that lives
to issue us
new lives.
Thank you
for divine love
that offers us
a bright future.

Love, Andrea
