Dear God,
Before rising from bed this morning I had some valuable lessons in faith. I quieted my head and my mouth and listened for your word to rise among the noise. In the quiet you spoke.
Faith stretches us, moving us from where we are to where you want us to be. Faith makes space between the obstacles allowing us to maneuver through our problems. Faith clears the air helping us see the potential for change. Faith fills us with clean, living air that cleanses us from within. Faith opens windows and doors in trapped rooms. Faith assists us in seeing beyond our blind spots. Faith proves you love us for the whole process of faith is a merciful act set in place by your hand.
As I felt the warmth of my covers I also sensed your great compassion. I knew I was in your tender care and so I trusted and moved upward from the mire. I practiced my faith in you and together we climbed the mountain to fresh, heavenly air. I breathed deeply filling my lungs, my soul, and my heart. My dark thoughts quickly dissipated and suddenly I found myself at home with you.
Wondrous God,
your glory
touches us,
making us new.
Your life-giving air
restores our
weary bodies.
Your mercy
lifts us up,
turns us around,
and gives us
opportunity to
see the
lighted path.
I am so very grateful!
Love always, Andrea
