Dear God,

You came by music yesterday, the first thing in the morning and the last thing at night.  At the monastery yesterday morning, the sisters and I sang together, "Seek God in every one and everything, every day of your life."  The passage out of Psalm 95 helped us focus on you, Lord, and our need and desire to seek you first in all things.  Then last evening at our church choir practice, we sang a Christmas song of a desire to go to Bethlehem.  Who could not think of you?

You do seek us out and give us opportunity to share our lives with you.  You speak and give to us.  You call us to faith and then welcome us into your life.  You bless us with your living presence all day long.  As you bless us, we are enabled to bless you back with prayer, meditation, and love.  What gifts you provide as we journey together!

You are God;
there is none
like you.
My desire
is to
constantly dwell
with you, Lord.
Let me
bless you
with the whole
of my soul.

Always, Andrea
