Dearest God,

"That moment pardon received...", a simple sentence fragment rose off the page as we sang the morning hymn at worship, "that moment pardon received".  Pardon received, oh yes, we have received pardon upon pardon and have always been blessed by you.

Pardon, is there a greater gift?  When pardon comes from you, O Lord, we know we have felt your touch.  We know we are a recipient of grace.

So often we forget your special touches, those holy moments when you reached from heaven to touch, inspire, and change us.  Somehow we set aside those wild moments of faith and suddenly out of nowhere you come to us reminding us of former gifts.

You teach us gratitude.  You inspire us to remember and give thanks.  As your voice speaks to us, we recall to mind your holy goodness.  Pardon, God, grace, blessing, and gratitude, one rolls into another as we listen for your merciful voice and hear it at last!

Blessed God,
daily you
bless us.
You speak,
you reach out,
you heal,
you help,
you offer,
you comfort.
Make us
a blessing
for you,
I pray.

Love, Andrea
