Dear God,

Your highest will, I found myself saying over and over again, your highest will.  As I lay in bed praying this morning, I was thinking about a situation and how I might handle it.  Before I could lay out my thoughts, your words came to me.  Your highest will.

You always call us to live out your highest will for our lives.  You ask us to trust you so you can open doors to the sacred mysteries of faith.  In the inner sanctum you reveal to us your love and wisdom.  You teach us the better way, the loving way, the valuable way.  Then you give us sacred tools by which to follow that will.  There in the holy of holies we eat hungrily of spiritual food and drink.  We are fortified with strength from on high and then we fall to our knees in grateful thanksgiving.

Why would we want anything less than your highest will?

Thank you,
Great Father,
for lessons
of faith
and trust.
Thank you
for showing us
the higher way.
Thank you
for love
that nudges
us forward
in faith.

Love always, Andrea
