Dear God,

You teach us to trust you.  You teach us to love you.  You teach us to love one another.

In every season you are Teacher to us.  In the ups and in the downs, in spring and in winter, and in fear and in joy you teach us the lessons of life.  You teach us to be humble and open so your messages can get through to us.  You teach us to keep our eyes open and anticipatory so we may catch a glimpse of your living spirit in daily life.  You teach us to be keenly aware of our self, our faith, and our surroundings so we may intuit the work of your spirit.  You teach us because you love us.

Good and Gracious God,
we are grateful
for your love
that teaches us.
Thank you
for the constancy
of your
living presence
at work
in our lives.
Thank you
for faith
that not
only enriches
our lives
but teaches us
the higher way.
