Dearest God,

Early this morning I lay on the bedroom floor just so I could look up at the night skies.  How brilliant were the diamond-like stars twinkling in the dark sky.  I imagined each one as a fruit of the spirit and as gifts of your gracious love.  As I lay there taking in the spectacular beauty, I thought of how you reveal yourself to us again and again.  To think your gifts are just outside our bedroom window.  Amazing!

Every day you think of us and give us opportunity to think of you.  You bless us with faith, a true lifeline to your divine mysteries.  You bless us with joy when we become aware of yet another blessing.  This morning's was divine indeed.
