Dear God,
It's quiet except for the rhythmic sound of the washer in the basement and the furnace when it kicks on. So much quiet fills our home. I breathe in peace, offering up little thank you messages for the quiet, cold, snowy landscape outside. Everything is beautiful and I know it so I give thanks.
You continually remind me to give thanks on "ordinary" days because it keeps me looking around, paying attention, and anticipating the beauty of here and now. You keep me grounded because from here I can see forever. A brush of your spirit can suddenly awaken and enliven me leaving me in awe. I take little bitty movements and turn them into wondrous faith-filled moments that turns any ordinary day into an extraordinary one. Anything is possible in the quiet.
Faithful God,
thank you
for gracious reminders
of faith alive.
Thank you
for making memories
with me.
Thank you
for everything.
Love, Andrea
