Dear God,

Memories, sweet memories of faith feed our souls!  This morning I remembered yesterday, the songs we sang, the scriptures we heard, and the friends we greeted at church.  They linger today to spread the good news in my own heart.

Worship is not just a service we attend.  It is a personal and corporate experience of faith.  There we touch and feel things unseen.  We see a spiritual friend whose story we know of courage, resolve, and trust in you.  When we see them, we are warmed, challenged, and blessed.

You reminded me today of hope and faith.  You spoke words of truth that resonated down deep in my soul.  I thought of past experiences of faithfulness, miracles, and spiritual direction.  I recalled times of faith when your spirit breeze blew in upon me and those around me.  Moments of special grace filled me and I realized once again that faith is not static but rather fluid, living, and renewing.

Memories of your sweet embrace keep me going and nudge me toward making faith memories with others.

Holy God,
thank you
for living faith.
Thank you
for memories
that continue
to bless
and challenge.
Thank you
for your
kind mercy
and love.

Always, Andrea
