Dear God,

Some ask:  Is there a God?  Others ask, how do you know God is at work?  Today you led me to a beauty shop to answer both questions.

My hair stylist began sharing with me what has been happening in her life the last few months.  She had gone on a retreat and truly learned the meaning of grace.  "All my life I have been missing unconditional love.  My stepmother and my husband always offered something less.  I never really felt I was loved.  It took me 61 years to figure it out."  During the course of 15 minutes she described her retreat experience but also a miracle that happened through perfect strangers.  She went on to say, "God has been so good to me."

The wonder of faith is that you take us down paths to the truth.  You even put strangers in our path to provide us messages of faith, the gentle workings of your spirit. Every time we are once again surprised to hear the wondrous tales not only of your living presence but also the hand you have in our lives.

again and again.
