Dear God,
I can't get my mind off nature's transition. Every day there is new color in my back yard. The air beckons me outside with dropping temperatures at night. Who wouldn't want to sleep in the cool, crisp Fall air? So, I put up my tent and invited grandchildren to join me.
You constantly remind us to go with nature's flow. At the same time you call us to think about our own changes and what we need to shed for the next season of our own life. You know better than anyone how important surrender is to a healthy, whole spiritual and emotional life and that is what you want for each of us.
As we move through this Autumn season, may we not be afraid to let go of obstacles that keep us from you and one another. May we become free agents who trust the Master to lead us into new and bright areas of promise.
Thank you
for this
Fall day,
O Lord,
and all
its messages
to us.
Teach us
to listen
and follow you.
May we
be a blessing
to you
as we
transform ourselves
with your spirit.
Love, Andrea
