My dearest God,

This morning you filled me up with your Holy Spirit.  You filled our church as we sang, prayed, listened, fellowshipped, and gathered at your table.  As we ate the bread and drank the wine, we remembered your son and millions of Christians around the world.  World wide Communion Sunday gave us opportunity to unite ourselves together around a common table.

How good it is to circle round your table with others.  How good it is to hold the hand of our neighbor.  How good it is to pray for one another.  You lift us up so we can live our faith in praise and thanksgiving.  How grateful we are, how blessed.

Creator God,
thank you
for your table,
open to all.
For it
is your table,
not ours.
You invite us there.
You feed us.
You bless us.
Thank you,
Blessed Lord.
