Dear God,
Who can turn away from you? Who can want anyone else but you, O Lord; for you alone offer saving hope, radiant light, and warm blessings.
Sometimes we isolate ourselves, step away from those who can help us. We slip back believing that being alone will aid us in our path of difficulty. But really we need our heavenly father's hand. We need your presence to help us see the truth. We need your comfort in order to find the hope you offer. When we turn to you, dropping the veil, what blessing comes to assist us in our way back.
Forgive us, dear Father, when we reject you, when we hold back, and when we do not listen. Our selfish behavior is just a symptom of our insecurity, our fear, and our sense of vulnerability. Like children we desperately need a holy parent's love.
Thank you,
Wondrous God,
for your
loving mercy.
Thank you
for never
forgetting us.
Thank you
for your
tender care
even when
we turn away.
Bless you
for blessing us.
Love, Andrea
