Dearest God,

With faith life is so different.  A home is not just a home; it is a spiritual refuge.  A tree is not just a tree; it is a symbol of life.  A sunrise is not just a sunrise; it is a new beginning.  A hymn is not just a song; it is a blessed message of God.  Water is not just water; it is living water that really quenches our thirst.

Faith reveals a whole other layer of life.  It points us to the divine, the living divine.  It offers us hope, peace, love, surprise, and a deep well of gratitude.  It helps us see beyond the visible to the invisible.  It brings so much joy bubbling over.  Faith provides challenge, sometimes welcome, sometimes not but always connected with growth and forward movement in our life journey.

Faith gives meaning and purpose to everything in life.  It also hones our ability to give and receive love and mercy.  Faith touches and inspires like nothing else.  Faith takes us to you.

Holy God,
there is
no greater gift
than faith.
