Dear God,

Slowly and steadily the green is pushing up through the soil, the old leaves and winter debris being pushed aside.  I don't know why it is but I find strength through watching the garden grow.

You made the seeds, the sun, the wind and rain and you make it all work together.  Every winter even before spring has sprung, the green begins to show.  Every seed knows what it is to do and it does it.  So many lessons lay in the seed.

Oh, to do what you want each of us to do and to become.  Oh, to listen to the elements all around us that give cues to our potential growth.  Oh, to delight the Master, the Creator, and push beyond all obstacles that keep us from growing!  Let it be so, Mighty God, let it be so!

Loving God,
thank you
for the
garden lessons.
Thank you
for courage
that rises up
from knowing you.
Thank you
for today's lesson.

Love, Andrea
