Dear God,
Sometimes we feel lost, lonely, and forgotten. We isolate ourselves and imagine an unhappy future. We begin to view the world through a very small circle, often distorting the truth. Before long we have a totally false sense of reality.
But you never leave us alone. You promise to always be with us, a promise we daily rely on. You promise to be that living presence, that conscious awareness that the world is more than we see, hear, or feel. We can ignore it, reject it, or mock it but we cannot kill it. You are here; you are there. You are the life force that challenges, loves, guides, helps, heals, and empowers. Although we may feel alone, it is only our inner shield we put up to protect us. However, when we open ourselves to faith's reality, we are reunited with you and how sweet is the reunion.
Holy Father,
thank you
for the blessing
of faith.
Thank you
for the promise
of your presence.
Thank you
for reunions.
Love, Andrea
