Dear Lord,

I finally caught up in my letters to you.  That bout of surgery, complications, and trial set me back.  I simply could not muster enough energy to write.  Yet, at the same time you ministered to me, speaking softly your words of compassion, comfort, and peace.

When we are vulnerable, unwell, or at risk in some way, we feel helpless, unable to do what we need to do.  We begin to fear, to wander, and to doubt.  However, you always come to us, wherever we find ourselves and in whatever state we are in.  You bless us with gentle breezes of your spirit.  You want us to know you are with us.

Gracious God,
you are
so good
to us.
You never
leave us,
nor forsake us.
Like a
loving parent,
you huddle
close by.
Thank you,
thank you
so much.

Love, Andrea
