Dear God,

The small 10" tomato plants have grown to 5'.  There are so many blossoms ready to produce fruit.  Daily I have watched the tomatoes form and quietly grow.  What an incredible thing to observe!

Faith is the same way if tended to.  As I water the plants, I need to water my spiritual dryness.  When I added necessary nutrients to the soil before planting, I thought of the nutrients needed for the spiritual life like silence, meditation, and prayer.  As I pull weeds that crop up, I need to rid myself of impatience, neglect, and poor attitude from my own "soil."  I realize there are so many similarities between the vegetable garden and the spiritual garden.

There are so many ways you teach us lessons and values of the spiritual life.  You want us to stay connected to you so you provide tools every day.  What a blessing when I catch the lesson!

You are God;
there is none
like you.
I am
so grateful
for your presence
in my life.
Thank you
for teaching me
lessons of faith.

Love, Andrea
