Dear God,

You led me to my own Christmas devotional book I wrote in 2008.  When I asked you to lead me to a book to read during Advent, you took me to an unlikely place where the book lay.  I picked it up and immediately felt your closeness.

Each day I have read a story from The Mystical Season of Reflection.  The stories have come to life once again and in and through them I have heard your voice, seen your hand, and felt your living presence.  I have been blessed as I remember when you whispered to me to write Advent and Christmas stories of hope, peace and joy.  It became a labor of love for you, my family, and close friends.

When we ask for your help, when we trust you to lead us, wondrous things take place.  Returning to beautiful stories of the past where your light shone upon us has blessed me so much.
